We have numerous opportunities for current or budding Running Coaches, Leaders or Personal Trainers to create and deliver fun running and fitness sessions for a variety of people.

Available shifts are on a continuous basis in various locations in Birmingham.

We’re looking for supportive, motivational Run Leaders in Solihull and Birmingham to deliver 12-week Beginner Running Programmes.

This role is flexible around your location and schedule, but you need to be able to commit 1 regular hour per week (e.g. Monday at 7pm) consistently for 12 weeks.

Learning, socialising and having fun whilst keeping fit has got to be the most run-derful job in the World. Our special guides are in charge of showing off our city to awesome runners.

Only first-class hosts, safety conscious leaders, positive people who can memorise tour info and deliver it in an engaging way need apply. Think you’re up for the challenge?

PAY: From £25 per tour.

Creating running events with a difference is at the (orange) heart of what we do. Your role will be simple and fun: researching, runsearching and writing a new tour for us.

With our guidance, you’ll have the opportunity to own your own project and see it through from market research to event launch, witnessing the joy something you’ve created can bring to others.

This position has a natural progression to the Running Tour Guide role.

PAY: From £100 per tour.

No-one moves before you do. Run of a Kind is looking to bring running tour joy into new cities that don’t currently have a running tour team set up.

This will be the first time we’ve moved to a new city, so you’ll have the opportunity to use the orange-print of what Lucy the Founder has learnt from taking part in running tours around the World and launching a running tour in Birmingham; adding your own ideas to improve the process.

Get set to start the best job in the world: a part time role that you can do alongside your other work and passions (at first, anyway!).

PAY: The more you put in, the more you get out. All profits will be yours after our small annual franchise fee.

We run on our tours, but you’ll be the real legs moving Run of a Kind forward. Working very closely with Lucy the Founder, the two of you will be the muscles driving business growth with your work directly resulting in growing our business.

Your tasks will be varied, and you’ll learn a lot about all aspects of operating and advancing a business, with the opportunity to get stuck into particular areas you enjoy most.

It’s a unique chance to have an important job within a small, purposeful company, where your contribution is valued highly and in continuous focus (wowza!).

PAY: Varied on a “per task” basis.

We know that excellent photography will take our brand to the next level. Our running and photography loving team member will be responsible for the creation of purposeful, engaging, on-brand photo content for use across our digital media channels.

As our official shooter, you’ll attend our running tours to snap runners on the move, be responsible for shooting our merchandise on and off models and capture Birmingham's grand landmarks and secret sights whilst out exploring.

As a small start up with a pasta bowl full of purpose, you’ll have the opportunity to try out innovative ideas and put your mark on our brand. You’ll end your time with us having developed professionally and personally with a portfolio to prove it.

In the fast paced, visual, online world we live in, we know that clever videography is the best way to capture and sell what we do.

Our Tarantino-in-the-making will be responsible for the creation of engaging promotional videos and on-brand video content for use across our digital media channels.

You’ll attend our running tours to film runners on the move and be responsible for directing, filming and producing ads to showcase and sell our tours and merchandise.
